A MicroSoft Windows 7 Patch (KB2859537) from early August can cause massive problems with some Applications. Sometimes Microsoft Office can crash, even Windows it self can be affected.

If you experience some of the problems you can solve it by removing the Patch with

wusa /uninstall /kb:2859537

No fast boot, no hypernate.
